Purpose
ROTA Foundation recognises the importance of identifying and appropriately managing situations in which personal interests could conflict, or appear to conflict, with responsibilities to the Foundation.
Disclosure
Persons involved in relevant Foundation decisions should disclose material personal or financial interests that could reasonably affect their independence in a particular matter.
Decision-Making
Where an actual or potential conflict exists, appropriate steps may include documenting the disclosure, limiting participation in the relevant decision or taking another proportionate measure.
Integrity
The objective is to support decisions made in the interests of ROTA Foundation's charitable purposes rather than for improper personal benefit.
Review
Conflict-of-interest arrangements may be reviewed and developed as the Foundation's governance requirements evolve.
